Bible Classes
From Cradle Roll to Adults we offer Bible based classes on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings to help us and our children grow in our relationship with God. We plan these classes to the educational level of the students. Many of our teachers have experience as Sunday School, Private School, and Public School teachers. They all love children and want to see them growing up in the Lord. Our adults meet in a number of different classes. The Ladies have a class on Sunday mornings, and there are classes for college age adults, those in their 30’s – 40’s, and another in the auditorium too. Those teaching these classes have experience as Christians, teachers, and grow along with their classes. Every summer we host a Search the Scriptures is our regular local television
program on Combs Broadcasting. Search airs each weekday morning at Groups:Throughout the year there are opportunities for our teen group and elementary group to attend events for their age group. These events occur throughout the Southeast and bring each group closer together and closer to other Christian young people. There are also regular separate elementary and teen devotionals at members’ homes. The young adults group is a mixture of single and young married Christians that enjoy spending time together. Fellowship to them always means fun. From Bible studies, cook-outs, service projects, or meeting at a restaurant, this group always has a good time. We have two Bible Bowl teams. Our award winning young people and our
knowledgeable adults
compete with other congregations in Special EventsGospel Meetings: We host two Gospel Meetings (Revivals) each year. One in September and one in February. Upcoming speakers include: Tom Holland, James Watkins, Brent Missildine, Levi Sides, Kerry Richardson, Vance Hutton, and others who strongly and faithfully proclaim God’s word. ICYC: Indian Creek Youth Camp is about 10 miles from our meeting place. Each year our young people and many adults spend a week of fun and spiritual enrichment at ICYC. For more about the camp go HERE. Annual Singing: This singing began as a Barn Singing a number of years ago. We host this singing every year on the first Friday in December. One year it was too cold for the barn and ever since we host it in our building in Parrish. |
